こんにちは、先日のアプデはセンセーショナルでしたね～
自称・Instagram古参ライトユーザーの私としては、ローンチ当時からお気に入りだったアプリの大胆なアプデをみて、若干寂しい気持ちにもなったりならなかったり。。
さて、今回は僭越ながら、超個人的にフォローして損はないとおもうおすすめアカウントを、Instagramのトレンド、世界、景色、犬、暮らし、旅、の6ジャンルに分けて、いくつかご紹介させていただきます。

宇宙に興味がある人もそうでない人もきっと魅了されてしまうNASAのアカウントです。
とにかく壮大で美しい。私は宇宙のことはあんまり詳しくないですが、映画「インターステラー」を見てワームホールに興味を持ってフォローしてみたのがはじまりです。。
Astronauts on the International Space Station see the Earth at night on every orbit. They captured this broad, short-lens stunning view of Earth’s night lights while looking out over the remote reaches of the central equatorial Pacific Ocean on August 9, 2015. The station was passing over the island nation of Kiribati at the time, about 2600 kilometers (1,600 miles) south of Hawaii. Knowing the exact time and the location of the ISS, scientists were able to match the star field in the photo to charts describing which stars should have been visible at that moment. They identified the pattern of stars in the photo as our Milky Way galaxy (looking toward its center). The dark patches are dense dust clouds in an inner spiral arm of our galaxy; such clouds can block our view of stars toward the center. The curvature of the Earth crosses the center of the image and is illuminated by a variety of airglow layers in orange, green, and red. Setting stars are visible even through the dense orange-green airglow. The brightest light in the image is a lightning flash that illuminated a large mass of clouds. The flash reflected off the shiny solar arrays of the ISS and back to the camera. The dim equatorial cloud sheet is so extensive that it covers most of the sea surface in this view. Our Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope detected a rapid-fire "storm" of high-energy blasts from a highly magnetized neutron star, also called a magnetar, on Jan. 22, 2009. Now astronomers analyzing this data have discovered underlying signals related to seismic waves rippling throughout the magnetar. Such signals were first identified during the fadeout of rare giant flares produced by magnetars. Over the past 40 years, giant flares have been observed just three times — in 1979, 1998 and 2004 — and signals related to starquakes, which set the neutron stars ringing like a bell, were identified only in the two most recent events. Neutron stars are the densest, most magnetic and fastest-spinning objects in the universe that scientists can observe directly. Each one is the crushed core of a massive star that ran out of fuel, collapsed under its own weight, and exploded as a supernova. A neutron star packs the equivalent mass of half-a-million Earths into a sphere about 12 miles across, roughly the length of Manhattan Island in New York City. While typical neutron stars possess magnetic fields trillions of times stronger than Earth's, the eruptive activity observed from magnetars requires fields 1,000 times stronger still. To date, astronomers have confirmed only 23 magnetars. Seen here is a rupture in the crust of a highly magnetized neutron star in an artist's rendering. It can trigger high-energy eruptions. Fermi observations of these blasts include information on how the star's surface twists and vibrates, providing new insights into what lies beneath. いかがでしたでしょうか？
Instagramは UIやアイコン以外に遊び方活用方法などもどんどん変わってきました。ローンチ当初は、スマホで写真を撮ってインスタントカメラ風に加工して投稿して友達同士の写真見せ合いっこがメインの素朴なアプリだったのですが、いまでは、TLに広告が流れてきたり、好きな有名人のアカウントをフォローして彼らの日常を垣間見て楽しんだり、企業アカウントのアカウントをフォローして新製品の情報を入手したり、いろんな楽しみ方ができるようになりました。
なんと、タイではInstagramとLINEがECの役割を担っているような事例もあるみたいで驚きです。
